The Road Less Traveled

These are the highlights of our family journey. Some are tough, some are easy. Some are fun. Some are sad. All are joyful! A homily from our Pastor, Father Mike Sis, reminds us of that...

We revel in a simple truth of our faith in God: He does not call the equipped, he equips the called. When we know things are tough, we get down a little before we realize that the abilities to handle trial and suffering are gifts from God just as much as life itself. We are ecstatic every day to know that we are worthy of His attention, and we do not concern ourselves with knowing His Plan.

It is enough for us to know that we are a part of His Plan!

And that's when we really get down...on our knees!

As you journey with us, you'll see the forest for the trees. And that's why it is all joyful, and each entry ends with thanks to God!

This is a list from newest to oldest, and we update it nearly every Sunday. On the individual year pages, if there is a book () next to the item, click on it to find out more about it. If there isn't, there's nothing else to say without each entry being a book, or we haven't taken the time yet to compile the photos or documents.
